Handwritten Place Cards

You’ve spent hours carefully planning where your guests will each sit. Who will get on, what will they talk about, what will they see? Place cards bring it all together by telling your guests that this place is theirs. More than that, the perfect style and colour of place card will elevate your table décor and connect every guest to your theme, especially when paired with a ‘wow’-making table plan and signage.

What is a
Place Card?

Place cards are small, individual cards, personalised with each guest’s name. They’re traditionally placed on your wedding tables to show everyone where to sit. Place cards can be almost any shape, size, colour, or style; they can lay flat, self-standing, or tied to gifts or décor.

A handwritten, professionally calligraphed place card is unique to every guest. Most people have never seen their own name as a small piece of art, so they spark a little extra excitement as your guests sit down. Most of them wind their way into bags and pockets as a keepsake, and I’ve seen more than a few ‘Mother of the Bride’ cards used as bookmarks long after a wedding!
