Calligraphy Workshop
Terms & Conditions

By booking on to my calligraphy workshop, you agree to the below terms and conditions:

Unless agreed otherwise, all payments must be made in advance of the workshop.

If you need to cancel, let me know as soon as possible by emailing hello@clarewarrencalligraphy.co.uk. If you provide at least 7 days’ notice, your payment will be refunded minus £10 to cover materials and venue hire. Cancellations within 7 days may not be refunded, however, you may be able to defer your place to a later workshop, where available.

 

If, in the unlikely event that I need to cancel the workshop, I will refund your payment in full.

 

You must comply with all requests from myself and the venue with regard to health and safety. Failure to do so will result in you being asked to leave the workshop (in which case no refund will be provided).

 

You may not bring any equipment or items of a hazardous or dangerous nature to the Workshop.

 

You must not cause damage to any part of the venue (including outside areas and all inside walls, flooring, fixtures and fittings). You are solely liable for any damage caused by you to any area of the venue and shall fully reimburse us in relation to any damage so caused.

 

You must keep your personal belongings with you at all times and I accept no liability for any damage to, loss of, or theft of any of your belongings or other items brought to the workshop by you.

 

I may record photographs or footage of some or all of the workshop for promotional purposes, including use on my website, social media, and advertisements. If you do not wish to be included, please let me know in advance.

I will communicate with you using the contact details provided on the registration form for the purposes of the workshop. You agree that I may share this data with relevant sub-processors for the purposes of administering this workshop, which may include processing outside of the European Economic Area. In all instances, any storage, transfer, or processing of your personal data will be subject to appropriate safeguards in line with the requirements of the UK GDPR.

 

You are responsible for making and paying for your own travel and accommodation arrangements to and from the workshop.

 

If you have any disability or medical condition that requires special arrangements, or any special dietary requirements, please email me at hello@clarewarrencalligraphy.co.uk at least 7 days in advance to ensure time to make reasonable accommodations.

 

Whilst I have taken every reasonable precaution to ensure security and safety at the workshop, neither I nor the venue shall be held liable for any loss or damage suffered by you whatsoever in relation to the workshop.

 

Our total liability for any matter arising out of the workshop shall in all circumstances be limited to the price paid by you for the workshop, and we shall not in any circumstances be liable to you for any consequential loss whatsoever.

 

Nothing in these Terms shall be deemed to limit the liability of any person for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation or any other liability for which it is unlawful to exclude or limit liability.
